lockedIn ("the App") is a focus tool that blocks distracting apps until you complete a quiz. This policy explains how your information is handled.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The App operates entirely on your device. No account is required.
The App stores the following locally on your device only:
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
lockedIn uses Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks to enforce app blocking. These frameworks are managed entirely by Apple and your device. We do not have access to any data handled by these frameworks. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details.
When generating quiz questions, the App sends a minimal request (subject and difficulty level only — no personal information) to Google's Gemini API. No identifying data is included in these requests. See Google's Privacy Policy for how they handle API requests.
lockedIn is designed for users of all ages, including children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. The App collects no data whatsoever, making it fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
The App uses the following third-party services:
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
